Laser Engraving Information

Laser engraving is a pretty neat process in which an actual small portion of the material is removed. This therefore results in a freshly engraved visible mark, and the process is produced by a laser marking printer which of course creates the markings on the material.

The laser basically acts like that of a chisel as it blows the selected parts of the material away. This process is actually a subset process as far as laser marking goes, and the object is really marked beneath its surface.
